The Reynolds Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors governs the fire department and expenditures. This is to ensure that your taxpayer dollar is used wisely. We have a long range planning committee to ensure we meet the needs of the community as the community grows, this can be anything from fire protection gear to fire trucks. We also have a personnel planning committee that bring before the board recommendations of employee hiring, etc. The board then votes on these proposals. The board is here to advise on equipment and ensure the fire department is running smoothly. In addition to the busy aspects of the fire department, we also try to take care of the firefighters and their families.
We have a picnic in the summer and a Christmas Party in the winter.
The Christmas party comes with great food arranged by the Auxiliary, gifts for every firefighter and child, including a visit from Jolly Ole Santa himself.
The Board usually meets quarterly or more frequently is needs arise. We have one annual meeting, the 1st Monday in May. This meeting we encourage the Reynolds community to attend. Here we can address questions and receive comments and recommendations.
